Christmas Light Installation in Babcock Ranch

A town where every house is new, and almost nobody has a box of lights in the garage yet.

Babcock Ranch is unlike anywhere else we work. It is a master-planned solar town built from scratch, which means the housing stock is uniform, the architecture is consistent street to street, and the landscaping is young. All of that makes it unusually satisfying to light. A scheme designed for one elevation tends to work on the whole street, and there are no forty-year-old oaks in the way.

It also means most residents moved in recently. They are not continuing a tradition they inherited with the house; they are starting one. In practice that changes the conversation. People here are more likely to be deciding what their Christmas looks like for the first time, rather than replacing what the last company did.

The young palms matter too. A newly planted specimen takes a wrap beautifully and reads clearly from the street precisely because it has not yet grown into a canopy. What works here is a lighter touch than an established neighborhood needs.
