Punta Gorda is an unusually varied town to light. The historic district runs to Old Florida houses with deep porches, metal roofs and mature oaks. These are properties where restraint reads better than volume, and where the porch line often matters more than the roofline.

Punta Gorda Isles is a different problem entirely. Long single-story rooflines, wide canal frontage, and homes that are seen from the water as often as from the street. We design those with both sight lines in mind, because a house that looks finished from the road and unlit from the canal is only half done.

Then there is Burnt Store Isles and the newer builds south of the harbor, with barrel tile, stucco and tall entry features that take architectural lighting very well.
